Sabancı University reunited with its alumni at an alumni reunion held in Munich, Germany on Saturday, April 11th. Approximately 100 alumni attended the event, which took place at Löwenbräukeller.
Sabancı University President Yusuf Leblebici, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (MDBF) Erkay Savaş, Alumni Relations Director Cenk Bayırlı, and Alumni Office Leader Cansu Karabağlı also participated in the reunion.
During the event, President Leblebici gave a presentation on the current state of the university. The presentation included information on Sabancı University's rankings in Türkiye and the world, as well as information about students' department and faculty choices.
A student who received a "Make a Promise for the Future" scholarship also attended the reunion. The student shared their story, goals, and Sabancı University's contributions to their life with the alumni, highlighting the significant impact even a small donation can have on students.
During the event, donations were collected from alumni, and these contributions covered the monthly cash needs of four students. The gathering, which strengthened the culture of solidarity and contribution within the Sabancı University alumni community, offered participants a social and meaningful environment for sharing.
